Slow motion video showing what's happening inside a 2-liter bottle of diet soda when MENTOS are dropped in -- carbon dioxide in the soda is attracted to tiny crevices on the MENTOS and quickly combine to shoot out the top of the bottle. Phantom 9.0 high-speed digital camera from Vision Research (2,000 frames/second) captured the slow-motion footage.
